BRANFORD, Conn., June 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. (“BTI”) (Nasdaq:BTAI), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical development company utilizing novel artificial intelligence to identify the next wave of medicines across neuroscience and immuno-oncology, today announced that it has been added to the Russell Microcap® Index as part of the Russell Indexes’ annual reconstitution, which took effect on Monday, June 25, 2018 prior to the open of the U.S. stock markets.
Membership in the Russell Microcap® Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider, determines membership for its Russell U.S. Indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes. Approximately $9 trillion in assets are benchmarked against Russell US Indexes.
